Thank you for the memorable fishing trip in Terrace. This 2002 trip was my introduction to
Steelhead fishing, and proved to be one of my most memorable angling experiences.
In the last 10 years I’ve been fortunate to fish many places, both local and abroad;
Various rivers, streams, lakes, and coastal regions in western Canada, the caribbean
islands, and Mexico. Each location has its own appeal – combinations of picturesque
settings, challenging conditions and equally challenging species.
However, Terrace has earned the most special place in my heart – the magnificent mountains,
numerous rivers and streams, naturally wild forests, and of course the numerous, large
steelhead & salmonoids, make my time in Terrace the most memorable.
The six days we spent fishing together in 2002 were incredible – your knowledge of the
rivers was extensive, the service you provided was first rate, and the fishing was beyond
any of my expectations!
My first trip with you in Terrace convinced me that this was a place I need to visit each
year. I look forward to fishing with you again this year.

Dear Gordon,
Both my wife and I would like to thank you for the fabulous fishing trip we had with you
on the rivers around Terrace. We were very impressed with your knowledge of the rivers
and your knowledge of where the fish were in these rivers. You were able to consistently
put us into fish no matter which river we were fishing! We caught pinks, chum, steelhead
and some huge springs!
Your enthusiasm for fishing becomes very apparent after talking with you for a few minutes,
it is clear that you don't just like fishing – you love it! This was also evident in the
way you gently handled and revived the salmon that we caught and released. You recommended
that we release all steelhead and I am now glad that we did, this precious resource should
be protected.
You made us feel comfortable in either the zodiac, the drift boat or the jet boat. I have
the unforgettable experience of catching my largest spring salmon ever while being guided
by you. I have pictures of our trip in my office at work, just to remember the great
fishing that we enjoyed!
